At least two weeks before the workshop, e-mail your manuscript as a Microsoft Word attachment to tuscarora.writers@gmail.com.  This gives time to read and critique your work.

A week before the workshop, I will e-mail or snail-mail your manuscript and a simple critiquing guideline to the other writers attending the workshop. You will read and make notes on one another’s work.

Give yourself time and space to work on your vision—or revision—in a supportive atmosphere with six other writers.

The day of the workshop at 9:00 sharp, we gather at the Adobe House for two days that include the following:

*  A full day of  workshopping on Saturday. Each writer will have an hour of focused attention on his/her work.

*  A great luncheon writing activity  to strengthen your descriptive writing skills (and a great sack lunch).

*  Camaraderie, laughter, and dinner at the historic Taylor Canyon Club.

*  At the Adobe House after dinner--dessert and readings. Bring something of yours to share with the group.

*  Sunday morning breakfast followed by informal workshopping until noon--rewriting and revisiting your work.

*  Another great luncheon writing activity (and another great sack lunch).

*  After lunch,  reflections on the day before; tips on revision;  the habit of writing―how to get it and keep it; the latest information about self-publishing, online publishing―and how to start a blog!

*  DON’T WORRY ABOUT YOUR SKILL LEVEL!  THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO GET STARTED OR TO KEEP GOING!
